Wildlife / Nature
Encircling the massive fort of Kumbhalgarh, this wildlife sanctuary covers an area of about 576 Sq.km. The sanctuary also covers some parts of Rajsamand, Udaipur and Pali. It’s a home to wildlife animals like Wolves, Leopards, Sloth bears, Hyena, jackals, Jungle Cats, Sambar Deers, Nilgai, Chausinghas (the four horned antelope) and Chinkaras. A pack of wolves strolling around the water sources of the sanctuary is a common sight in the summers. It has a good variety of birds too. The birds include Grey Jungle Fowls, peacocks, doves, Red Spur Owls, Parakeets, Golden Orioles, Grey Pigeons and White Breasted Kingfishers

Located 85 kms from Udaipur, the Kumbalgarh fort in the Aravali ranges is one of the famous forts in Rajasthan. It was built by Maharana Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. It has seven massive gates and huge watch towers. The strong structure and solid foundation of the Fort have made it unbeatable till date. The hefty walls of the fort are broad enough to stand eight horses side by side. There are around 360 temples inside the complex of the Fort. Amongst all of them, Shiva Temple is worth visiting that comprises a huge Shivalinga (Phallic form). The Fort is also known for its famous palace that resides on the top of structure. This beautiful palace is known as Badal Mahal or the Palace of Cloud.
Horse & Jeep Safari
Located in the most picturesque area of Rajasthan,on the edge of Aravalli Hills, alongside the Kumbhalgarh.This is one of the most popular programmes in Kumbhalgarh. Horses are capable of covering long distances at a good speed by virtue of their strong limbs and hooves, they can withstand heat and adverse climatic conditions. The Marwari horses are famed for their spirit, stamina, endurance, and loyalty. Bred by the ruling classes as war horses they are ideally suited to desert safari conditions.
